A new bloom. This is what waited for me when I got home tonight. A new bloom. On a bush that had not produced all summer. On a bush that looked dead a few weeks ago. I had given up on it.
The bloom reminded me how God can make all things new. Bring back to life that which was dead….or that which we see with our human eyes as dead. I have to stop placing limits on what God can do. Like producing a bloom on a flowerless, dead looking rose bush at the very end of the summer.
My God produces the blooms in the desert.
