“And if it all goes wrong and my work turns to dust today? This is your (my) kind reminder that outcomes are beyond the scope of my job description.” – Emily Freeman
We can plant seeds. We can water. We can nurture. We can do all the right things. But we cannot control the outcome. When we release trying to control what the outcome will be, we can live presently and fully in NOW and TODAY rather than tomorrow which isn’t here.
We can rest in knowing that tomorrow has been designed by the One who loves us well. And while the outcome may not be what you or I would choose, I want to learn to leave the outcome in the hands of the One who created me.
Let’s live in today doing our part and turn the outcome over to the Creator of the Universe.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11
